How to use

Directions for use

New Plantings: Mix in up to 200g with backfill soil at the base of the plant hole and then place plant on top. This will ensure nutrients will be available at the root zone. If placing into a pot or container, thoroughly blend 50g into the potting mix.

Established Pots & Containers (Sidedress): Scatter 100g between the base of plant and pot perimeter and work well into the top 5cm of the soil. Apply during early spring before growth flush (Aug/Sep), again in mid-summer (Dec/Jan), and autumn (Mar/Apr).

Established Citrus Trees: Apply at a rate of 200 - 400g for 1 – 2 year old trees, spread evenly around the drip line, keeping 20cm from trunk extending 0.5 – 1m beyond canopy. Citrus are hungry feeders and so, 3+ year old trees may require an increase in rate by further 200g per 25cm of growth (1kg/m in height) up to as much as 2kg for 10+ year old trees. Applications should be made – early spring before growth flush (Aug/Sep), again in mid-summer (Dec/Jan), and autumn (Mar/Apr).

Other Fruiting Trees (including Pomefruit & Stonefruit): Apply at a rate of 100 – 200g when the trees start to form buds (Aug/Sep), and repeat once fruit starts to ripen (Dec/Jan). Evenly spread around the drip line of the trees and keep 20cm from trunk. Rates may need to be increased with age and size (100-200g per 25cm of growth). Do not exceed 2kg per mature plant.

*As a guide one full cup holds on average 200g of product or a 2L ice cream bucket holds approx. 2kg.

Precautions

Precautions

  • Do not apply fertiliser directly against the stem and avoid contact with foliage or flowers as plant tissue damage may result.
  • Do not apply during hot summer months when temperatures are expected to soar above 30°C or if plant appears to be suffering from moisture stress.
  • Always water in well after each application.

Low salt and does not contain potassium chloride.
